Artist’s Eye, The: Bridget Riley

Synopsis
Each year in The Artist’s Eye exhibition at the National Gallery, London, a distinguished artist presents his or her personal choice of paintings from the gallery’s collection. Bridget Riley selected seven paintings to demonstrate the power of colour as a structural element in picture-making. She discusses paintings including ‘Bacchus and Ariadne’ by Titian, ‘The Adoration of the Kings’ by Veronese, and ‘The Bathers’ ('Les Grandes Baigneuses’) by Cézanne.
