Synopsis

Part of a course consisting of 4 study packs, all relating to different aspects of contemporary Germany. Each study pack covers 2 units and consists of a videocassette, 3 audiocassettes and a transcript booklet. The activities audiocassette give students an opportunity to practise speaking and listening to German. The material is chosen to assist in building language skills and give an insight into a variety of aspects of life today in Germany and German-speaking countries. The themes of this pack are LEBENSUMSTƒNDE - changing social patterns and lifestyles, and WELT DER ARBEIT -the world of work.
