- Synopsis
- A video-based training package on the care of the dying. Aims to enable all staff 1) to deal sensitively and confidently with dying people and their relatives and friends, whether at home, in hospital or in nursing or rest homes; 2) to increase knowledge of the different cultural and belief systems in a multi-cultural society; 3) to improve communication skills of all staff who come into contact with dying people and their families; 4) to provide all staff with an opportunity to examine their own attitudes to death and dying; 5) to provide staff with appropriate coping strategies.
