Larynx and Carotid Triangle, The

Synopsis
An electronic ear-nose-throat atlas of continuous cross-sections. Contains 9000 images of normal anatomy with 1200 correlative images from CT, MRI and histology, enabling the interactive exploration of the major structures of the larynx, the carotid sheath, the major part of the thyroid gland, the oro- and laryngopharynx, the cervical spine from C2 to C7 (excluding the posterior parts of the spinous processes). Also includes Mallory-stained histological images in axial direction from the same head. All structures are displayed as continuous cross-sectional photographs in coronal, sagittal and axial directions. The images can be displayed as stills or video.
