Lady Lazarus

Synopsis
A visual response to Sylvia Plath’s readings of her own poetry. These readings plus extracts from an interview given just before Plath’s death provide an anchor for a film which celebrates her macabre humour and cinematic vision - an atmospheric film with a carousel of images in windows, constant metamorphosis, poetry as cinema.
