Synopsis

A two-part teaching package covering 1) basic laboratory safety (including fire safety and first aid) and 2) Specific hazards in the laboratory (toxic and reactive chemicals, biological materials, radiation haards, electrical hazards, COSHH regulations). Suitable for self-paced open learning or as part of a lecture course. Approximately 3 hours of teaching material.
