Arterial Cannulation and Pressure Monitoring

Synopsis
Invasive monitoring is becoming more and more widely used in the care of seriously ill patients, providing a fast and accurate means of detecting changes in the cardiovascular system. The film gives instruction in the correct procedure for arterial cannulation and demonstrates the setting up, calibration and connection of a simple monitoring system, suitable for use in an intensive therapy unit.
