Kimberley Mob, The

Synopsis
For 100 years the Aboriginal cowboys of the Kimberleys in Northern Australia were the workforce of the cattle industry based on their land and their labour. In 1967 when they were granted equal rights and equal pay many were driven to a life of unemployment in the fringe camps of white townships. Today many of the cattle stations are uneconomic and are being reclaimed by the Aboriginal people. Mount Anderson cattle station is now managed by the Watson brothers and their families.
