- Synopsis
- Traces Keith Vaughan’s life and art from his public school days and the war years, to teaching in London art schools, and the final period of self-imposed withdrawal before his suicide at 65. The film’s commentary comprises readings from the journal which Vaughan kept (an edited version was published in 1966) and interviews with the art critic Bryan Robertson and the editor of the ‘London Magazine’, Alan Ross.

- Arts on Film Archive offers on-line access to a large range of films on art produced in the United Kingdom since the 1950s, and is a unique record of British and international post-war art, as well as of documentary film-making in the UK.
