Synopsis
A compilation of seven short films produced by the Ministry of Information on the activities of women and children whose lives were affected in various ways by the World War 2. Focuses on women in factories, the role of women in the home, evacuation and education. (For synopses of parts 1-4, see individual titles.)
5 (1940, 9 min): Evacuation of children in the early years of the war, showing the experience of a West Country welcome at home at at school in Torquay.
6 (1941, 12 min): Some of the problems associated with evacuation.
7 (1940, 10 min): A picture of Ashley Green village school in Buckinghamshire, narrated by the headmistress whose problems include absorption of a number of refugees.
