John the Eel Trapper

Synopsis
John, a solitary character, makes his living by trapping eels in the numerous canals of East Anglia. His is seen at work and narrating his own story. He is always on the run because eel trapping is illegal. The film is a tale of poaching and the influence of the modern state on the individual.
