Ivan

Synopsis
Portrait of Ivan Vaughan, who suffers from Parkinson’s disease, and his efforts to cope with his illness. His way of coming to terms with it is to treat it as a hobby, learning as much as he could about the disease by reducing his dependence on the drug L-dopa and experimenting with using muscular effort to control tremor. By fixing achievable goals, Ivan has learned to use to effect of the tremor to galvanize his body out of his normal stooped rigidity and propel it towards a target.
