Synopsis

In 2 parts: each part shows a grocer seeking a loan of £56,000 from his bank to enable him to complete the purchase of the freehold premises next door to his shop in order to expand his business. In part 1 he meets the securities clerk who fails to understand the accounts. In part 2 he makes an appointment to see the manager.
