Synopsis

The most visual manifestation of the Arab world is its new architecture. Gradually second-rate western imports are being replaced by a contemporary Islamic architectural style. The State Mosque in Kuwait, the University of Qatar and the Suleiman Palace in Saudi Arabia were all built by Arab architects.
