Synopsis
First shows the investment casting process used in the production of ornate gold rings. The wax injection is the only part of the process that is automated, with skilled personnel needed to design and make the moulds. The second part shows the use of investment casting techniques in the manufacture of aerospace components requiring critical exactness.
