- Synopsis
- Covers the basic optical properties of the microscope and demonstrates the correct procedure for seting up bright field illumination. Shows the technique of oil immersion and describes the calibration of the eyepiece graticule. Shows living samples viewed under bright field, phase contrast, differential interference contrast and fluorescence microscopy. Filmed in a clinical environment at the Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth.
