Interdisciplinary Enquiry: A Video

Synopsis
In Roger’s view interdisciplinary enquiry (IDE) cannot be an adequate substitute for the systematic study of the separate subjects of the curriculum; subjects will come together because they have a genuine, distinct part to play in the study of a particular topic. Illustrates this by taking a class of top juniors on a field expedition to reconstruct a castle drawing on the disciplines of history, geography and mathematics.
