Synopsis
An overview of four advanced imaging techniques in radiodiagnosis which come under the umbrella heading of ‘scanning’ - ultrasonic diagnosis, computerised tomography (CT) scanning, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and radio-isotope scanning with a gamma camera. Each procedure is demonstrated in a clinical setting, preceded by a brief explanation and followed by the visualisation of the results.
