Insect Tissue Culture
- Synopsis
- Shows a method of establishing continuous cultures of ovarian tissue from the insect ‘Antheraea eucalypti’ (emperor gum moth). Cells from the first invertebrate cell lines available in continuous tissue culture are seen through time-lapse micro-photography during a variety of cellular activities. The film is the result of research by Thomas Grace at CSIRO’s Division of Entomology.
