Injection Moulding

Synopsis
An introduction to injection moulding, using examples of machine factory-made components. Animations show the flow and process of injecting plastic melt into a mound. Follows the manufacture of a plastic desk tidy at the British Polymer Training Association from raw plastic granules to the finished product, explaining the phases and processes of injection moulding, including a microprocessor-based control system and related computer-aided design and engineering.
