Synopsis

Shows the efforts of teachers and pupils from schools across North Tyneside as the work towards National Curriculum attainment targets 1 & 2. Schools throughout North Tyneside and the Laing Art Gallery in Newcastle upon Tyne provide a rich fund of work in art, showing the progression from reception to year six as pupils develop their visual language and applied techniques in a range of media. They learn to observe the world around them through their own eyes and those of other artists.
