Synopsis
A record of the rehearsal period of ‘Who’s Breaking’, a play by Philip Osment, produced by the Neti-Neti Theatre Company. In the play a young deaf man uses British Sign Language and Sign Supported English to communicate. The video examines the way signing, mime, gesture, movement and dance can be combined to communicate with an audience of hearing and deaf people and make theatre more accessible without compromising artistic quality.
