Immortal Passado, The

Synopsis
Shows how a repertory company at the Haymarket Theatre, Leicester, mounted a production of Romeo and Juliet in five weeks. Traces the progress of the production from ideas to drawings, then into the workshop and rehearsal rooms, and onto the stage. Explains the contributions of producer, designer, costume and set makers, electricians, dancers and actors. A short extract from the first-night performance shows how they all finally unite.
