Synopsis

Slides chosen to illustrate the wide range of visual response to the Falklands conflict produced in Britain during and after the events of 1982. They include images from newspapers, such as front pages, photographs and cartoons, fine art and graphic design, and feature the work of many leading British artists and photographers. The slide pack derives from an exhibition ‘The Falklands Factor: Representations of a Conflict’.
