Synopsis
The portable ice-maker developed at the Centre for Industrial Innovation is an instrument for producing ice to keep vaccines cool and in good condition while a medical team carries out immunization programmes in remote villages in developing countries. Shows the ice-maker in operation using a solid fuel heater burning brushwood. The process is demonstrated step-by-step from building the fire to the production of ice.
