Synopsis
One day in the life of an Auxiliary Fire Service unit in the London Blitz. This is the full version of the cinema classic FIRES WERE STARTED, which captured the mood of a Britain under siege. Using real firefighters, it bacame the tribute to the work of the service during the war.
