- Synopsis
- Footage from the television series FORBIDDEN BRITAIN combined with previously unseen footage. Six adults, five women and a man, speak about their experiences of being abused as children in the first half of the century, showing that child sexual abuse is not the recent phenomenon it may sometimes appear. To allow for more detailed analysis, two of the stories from the broadcast programme are edited to make up individual case studies, using additional material.
