Paint it Black: A Portrait of Handsworth, part 1 of 3. A Network programme originally from BRMB Radio. Brian King presents a programme on the Handsworth area of Birmingham, the perceived decline of which many locals claim is down to the immigrants living there. Talks to locals of various ethnic origins about the riots in Handsworth, and about their fears of going out at night due to the violence in the area. Trailer for part 2 follows.
