The Fauld Explosion. Alan Devereux presents a special Network programme about an explosion at the RAF Fauld underground munitions base near Tutbury, Staffordshire on 27/11/44, where at least seventy-five people died. Includes an in-depth account of events including the cause of the explosion and the subsequent rescue operation.
