Description

The world’s only Wellington bomber to see active service lies at the bottom of Loch Ness, and the operation to retrieve the aircraft is underway. Loch Ness Wellington Association team leader Bob Alwood describes the plans in place, and the logistics behind retrieving the plane. We hear from the divers on the project, and from the pilot, Nigel Marwood Elton on the last flight the aircraft took. The programme follows the retrieval from start to finish.
