- Description
- The Quiet Conquest - The Huguenots. The Huguenots were intelligent, skilled French citizens, who fled from Catholic France where they were persecuted, to Protestant England among many other countries. Here we hear the history of these people; the role they played in society; their employment for good skills in weaving, wine making and metalwork; and the treatment they received in England. Huguenot descendants also comment.
