- Policing the Joint, a special programme presented by Angie Bray on West London’s All Saints Road, which was in the frontline of the 1981 Notting Hill riots and where some local residents are now threatening legal action against the police for failing to deal with open drug dealing on the street and on what can be done to solve the area’s problems. Includes interviews with Labour councillor Bob Pope; Conservative MP Sir Brandon Rhys Williams; police chief Albert McKew; chairman of the Notting Hill Carnival Alex Pascall; residents including Mikie de Souza; community worker Victor Critchlow.
