Description

Export or die was the message of the 1970s. Watercraft, a firm in Shoreham which exports 90% of its boats, has just won the Queen’s Award for Industry. Mike Dickin interviews Peter Dunlop of Watercraft from a workboat on the water, and tours the workshops. Peter Dunlop tells us about the types of boat they build, how they are built, where they are sent, about negotiating contracts abroad and receiving the MBE.
