Description

Also interviews with Labour Party employment spokesman John Smith on training and education plans; Geoffrey Holland, Manpower Services Commission Director on annual report findings on YTS trainees finding employment; George Pennant, organiser of Job ‘84 exhibition; discussion with John Gill, music editor of Time Out, a judge of Young London Band ‘84 and some entries played; Home Office minister David Mellor on increase in heroin use; Dr John Guy on A level grading; Peter Lovett, man injured on research trip; two Japanese choirboys, their conductor and voice trainer on visit to UK for the Little Singers of Tokyo choir tour. Also Careless Whisper by George Michael played, number one in the pop charts. Ends abruptly before end of programme.
