Network from Metro Radio, Newcastle: Joe Poulter investigates supernatural healing in award-winning documentary A Question of Faith. Includes interview with David Provern, local organiser for World Evangelism Society of Great Britain meeting held by US evangelist Morris Cerullo in City Hall, Newcastle; interviews with people at the meeting including Archie Dennis, crusade singer; and Morris heard speaking. Then looks at a festival of healing- interviews with organiser Bill Portsmouth(?) and leader George Bennett. Also interview with Trevor Dearing, a wandering evangelist within the Church of England on his work and beliefs. Finally investigates the relationship between religion and medicine- interview with David Goodacre of the Institute of Religion and Medicine. Breaks in recording where news and adverts edited out.
