Theatres of London, compiled and presented by Isobel Kirk. Part 1: Drury Lane. With guests, author Brian Dobbs and ex-General Manager of Drury Lane Theatre, George Hoare, Kirk looks at the history and personnel of the Drury Lane Theatre, which celebrates its 322nd anniversary this month, and the changing tastes of the British public as far as productions are concerned. The programme features songs from many well-known musical shows staged at the theatre.
