Description
Speaking for Myself, a special programme with officers from the London Metropolitan Police force talking about their life, work and the changes they have seen over their careers including changing attitudes of police and towards them, women on the beat, increased politicization and accountability. Includes interviews with PC Peter Wilks, community beat officer at East Dulwich; Liz Birbeck, an inspector at Twickenham; Detective Sergeant Graham Saltmarsh of the drugs squad at Lambeth; Detective Chief Superintendent Ray Adams, head of CID at Lambeth. Programme begins and ends with a montage of clips from the different speakers. Reporter/interviewer not heard, no presenter or commentary.
