Severn Sound Radio special The Janos People, recounting a close encounter of the fourth kind when a family of 5 travelling in a car in Oxfordshire in 1978 were taken aboard a spacecraft, medically examined, shown images of the Janos People’s life and radioactive contamination of their planet, and told of the aliens’ search for a new home. Includes interviews with members of the family involved- John and sister Frances; exobiologist Frank Johnson, author of a book on the incident; hypnotist Geoffrey McCartney. With actors Ann Sutton, Keith Kendry and Richard White recreating the testimony of John and Frances during hypnotic trances. Produced and presented by Chris Eldon Lee, introductory announcers not identified. For LBC’s Network programme, the best of independent radio. Music composed and performed by Vangelis, additional material Steve Hillage and Genesis.
