Description
First part of a programme exploring the death of Barry Prosser, a businessman who was imprisoned in Winson Green Prison in Birmingham, where he was kicked to death in the daycare centre. We hear from widow Dorothy Prosser, who is pushing for an inquiry to solve the crime. Inmates present at the time talk about the events leading up to the attack. Courts found Prosser had been murdered, but the case was dropped due to lack of evidence. Also speaking are inmates, MPs, and prison authorities on the attack, and on the prison itself including the imprisonment of those with mental health problems.
