Decision Makers presented by Richard Bath on the economic recession and what politicians think the solution is. Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher is standing by her economic policy. Chancellor Geoffrey Howe claims the plan is slowly working, whilst opposition MPs do not agree. Labour MP Tony Benn claims the solution lies in North Sea oil, and the Social Democrats also voice their proposals for a solution.
