- Our Kind of Town, weekly programme presented by Keith Howell. This edition visits the Horniman Museum in Forest Hill, south London, and looks at its founding (by tea trader, Frederick Horniman) and history, as well as an appraisal of the collections. In the second part of the programme the Museum’s educational activities are examined along with an exhibition of Greek folk art. The third part looks at Cale Art, a gallery opened in Chelsea, west London. The final part looks at the death of actress and comedian, Joyce Grenfell. Speakers include David Boston, Horniman Museum director; Dr Elizabeth Goodhew, keeper of education; Helen Kubik(?), Greek cultural attache; Janet Marsh, artist and Cale Gallery owner; Joyce Grenfell.
