Decision Makers presented by Paul Maurice explores the issue of expanding Stansted Airport with a major investment and turning it into London’s third large airport. Both sides of the argument are explored with finance, and the economical and environmental issues discussed. Dennis Miller of the British Airport Authority explains the plans and the cost. Local people resent the plans due to noise pollution, but northern councils think it would help the local economy, with 4000 jobs being created. Other alternatives to Stansted are considered, including a new airport in Docklands, London. Engineer is Colin Clements. Also speaking Reg Ward, Graham Bright.
