Description

Decision Makers, presented by Richard Bestic. A controversial medical advance, womb leasing - otherwise know as surrogacy - is discussed, with general opinion being against the procedure. Wendy Mantle from the Law Society wants womb leasing banned, declaring that the child should be born of both parents, and doing otherwise could cause psychological problems. The Church states that womb leasing takes away the spiritual element of birth. The opinions of those who are unable to have children are also considered.
