- Description
- Decision Makers, presented by Richard Dallyn. With 90,000 children in Britain’s care homes, some say the Government should solve the problem at source, and help prevent family breakups, whilst others want care laws changed. Decision Makers asks, how can children get a better deal? The Reverend Gordon Barritt of the National Childrens Home, a voluntary organisation, is disturbed by the acts of cruelty to children, and Dave Jones of the NSPCC thinks the laws concerning care should be changed. The programme also talks to foster children and parents who voice their opinions. Also speaking: David Jones, Jerry Hayes, Stephen Bubb, Renee Short, Rachel Hodgkin. Engineer Colin Clements.
