Description
Decision Makers presented by Judith Dawson on the new policing bill. The bill will give the police new powers, including stop and search rights, longer detention periods, and the ability to access confidential evidence. Doctors, judges, bishops and lawyers have all voiced their disapproval of the new measures, but Home Office Secretary Patrick Mayhew says the public are happy with the new powers. Law Society spokesman Andrew Lockley says civil liberties will be affected. The police say the innocent have nothing to worry about. Engineer Dave Dawson.
