- Our Kind of Town, presented by Keith Howell. This episode focuses on the newspaper industry and music production in London. Howell speaks to Reg Grace(?) and Mary Grace(?), who are set to retire from selling newspapers to journalists after more than forty years. Reg describes the daily routine of delivering newspapers. Music producer Peter Gammond is releasing a book with fellow producer Raymond Horricks; Horricks talks about the process of recording music and recounts his experience of recording with Dorothy Squires, and moving between classical and popular music. Musical recordings played during the programme include A Day in the Life, performed by The Beatles, and Mad Dogs and Englishmen, performed by Noel Coward. In two parts, divided by short break in audio. Volume low in places.
