- Description
- The London Interview. Hilary Macnamara and Howard Shelley, married concert pianists who play duet concerts, describe how they needed to have their attic room reinforced and special windows put in to allow their pianos to be lifted into the house by crane. The couple discuss relations with their neighbours, how Hilary has given up part of her career to raise a family, and how touring is incredibly hard work. They say they have played some terrible pianos, including one where the pedals fell off during a performance. Female interviewer not identified.
