Description
A report claiming the USA had bombed a temple in Mecca has led to a riot at the US Embassy in Islamabad, during which a US marine was shot. US State Department spokesman Hodding Carter III denies rumours of the attack, and thanks the Pakistani authorities for doing their best. The remaining 49 American hostages in Iran have been threatened with death should the USA attempt military intervention. America may bomb Iranian air force bases if anything happens to the hostages. The reporter is Andrew Manderstam.
