Description

Andrew Manderstam reports on the Iranian hostage crisis. A Camp David summit has been held by US President, Jimmy Carter, and a possible military intervention discussed. Carter was told that there was no way the Army could rescue the hostages; military intervention remains a last resort. The Shah has finished his treatment, but might need an operation which could be done anywhere. The Shah’s wife says that he would like to return to Mexico. Male studio reporter not identified (poss.
