The Liverpool team’s visit prompted a 20 year-old man to emerge from a coma; Dr Paul Gerrish talks about this. Patient, Ian Vernon talks about the policeman, Brendan Packman, who saved him. Fellow patient, student John Hughes talks about the lack of organisation that caused the disaster.
